The keys to efficient resource usage in our offices are the 3 R's of waste management:
Reduce: Wherever possible, it is best to reduce materials, energy, and water consumption.
Reuse: If a product or material still has value in its existing form, we make every effort to reuse it.
Recycle: Recycle only materials that cannot be reused in their existing form. Never put in general waste anything that can be recycled.
On top of this, we purchase recycled materials as much as possible for the office.
We replaced all our light fixtures with LED lights.
The materials used in the office are as much as possible recycled materials and/or biodegradable materials.
Our standard is to use as much recycled or bio-degradable materials in the office as possible, try and maintain a paperless office, and inform/educate our office employees about all the above measures that can be taken.
